BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Kazakhstan's KazTransOil JSC has approved the tariff for storing oil in vertical steel tanks for the purpose of transporting Russian-origin oil through the country's territory to Uzbekistan, KazTransOil told Trend.
In accordance with the order of the chairman of the management board of KazTransOil JSC dated by June 8, 2023 No. 55, a tariff of $0.52 per 1 ton per month (excluding VAT) has been approved for the storage of oil in vertical steel tanks. This tariff applies to non-residents availing the transportation service of KazTransOil JSC for Russian-origin oil, intending to transit through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
The specified tariff is put into effect from July 10, 2023.
Meanwhile, during the first quarter of 2023, KazTransOil experienced a remarkable increase in the volume of oil transported through its primary pipeline system. The total amount reached 10.3 million tons, indicating a substantial growth of 591,000 tons compared to the same period in the previous year.
KazTransOil JSC is an oil pipeline company in Kazakhstan. It offers transportation services for oil to the domestic market, as well as for transit and export purposes.
