ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 9. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have signed a joint statement on the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty between Kazakhstan and Russia on Good Neighborhood and Alliance in the 21st Century, as well as a Joint Action Plan for 2024-2026, Trend reports.

At the same time, as part of Vladimir Putin's visit to Kazakhstan, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministries of Energy of Kazakhstan and Russia on cooperation on the construction projects of thermal power plants in Kokshetau, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan).

In addition, a joint action plan was signed for interaction between the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan and the Federal Customs Service of Russia with the participation of representative offices of the customs services of the two countries for 2024-2025.

Several other documents were also signed.
