"At the present situation is stable in the south of Kyrgyzstan," ex-minister of defence Ismail Isakov stated at the press-conference today, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to him armed power of the Kyrgyz Republic are doing the best to avoid repetition of the tragic events. "Significant support is provided by leaders of Diasporas, people's diplomats, elders; they call people for peace and reconciliation. But there are still forces that are trying to destabilize the situation and incite new disorders; rumors about new clashes continue to be spread. I call not to follow rumors and to be jittery," Ismail Isakov said.
On the question about deployment of OSCE policemen in Kyrgyzstan Ismail Isakov answered that he is against such decision. "We have different mentality, laws and military training. Besides, we have definite agreements within SCTO and SCO," he added.
