A soldier serving with Kyrgyzstan's border troops command killed five colleagues manning a post with him on the Central Asian nation's international border, dpa reported quoted officials as said on Monday.
The killings took place on Sunday and a search is in progress for the suspect in Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul district, some 200 kilometres east of the capital Bishkek, a statement from Kyrgyzstan's border troops command said.
The report did not give details on possible motives for the attack. Kygryzstan's Issyl-Kul district borders Kazakhstan and China.
