Kyrgyz president to undergo medical treatment in Moscow

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev arrived to Moscow to continue medical treatment in Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian President’s Office, Kyrgyz president’s press-service said on Sept. 23.
The doctors of this hospital earlier treated Atambayev’s heart disease. Atambayev was invited to the hospital by Russian side.
Atambayev is accompanied by deputy chief physician of Clinical Hospital of Kyrgyz Presidential Administration Gulmira Baitova.
On Sept.19 Atambayev suddenly felt ill in Istanbul when he was travelling to New York to take part in the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. His doctors advised by to pass a preliminary medical exam, which discovered some symptoms of possible heart problems. Atambayev took a short vacation to undergo a medical examination and treatment.
