BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. There is no shortage of US dollars on Kyrgyzstan's foreign exchange market, said Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, Nurbek Jenish, Trend reports via kabar.kg.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan's commercial banks are ready to meet any volume of demand.
"In recent months, an increased demand for cash foreign currency has formed in Kyrgyzstan, associated with the cessation of foreign currencies inflows in Russia, but there is no shortage of US dollars on the Kyrgyz foreign exchange market," Jenish said.
He also emphasized that despite the US dollar shortage in other Central Asian countries, the overall amount of USD in Kyrgyzstan's banking system is on the rise.
