BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Russia's Sberbank has canceled the commission for money transfers to Kyrgyzstan, said Sberbank's director of "Payments and transfers" Leonid Shnyr, Trend reports via vesti.kg.

According to him, the cancellation of the commission is part of the work on the development of non-cash payment services, particularly in relation to money transfers to the neighboring countries.

"From August 1, the customers of Sberbank have the opportunity to make ruble transfers to their relatives and friends in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan without a commission. The service is available in Sberbank's online application," he said.

Remarkably, Russia ranked first among the countries of the world in terms of remittances to Kyrgyzstan in June 2022 ($302.7 million).
