BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. Russian KAMAZ plans to open a service center in the Kyrgyz Osh city, in the south of the country, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyzstan Ainura Usenbekova said, following the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation held in Bishkek, Trend reports via Kyrgyz media.
According to her, the Russian specialists are planning to visit Osh to study the potential of the region and exchange experiences with their Kyrgyz counterparts.
Usenbekova also said that the fourth meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian working group on the industry was held on March 28.
During the meeting, the parties outlined promising areas of cooperation. In particular, they discussed the issues in the field of microelectronics, assembly production of vehicles, energy, digital technologies, and bionics.
Meanwhile, KAMAZ handed over a batch of 40 fire trucks to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan on March 13.
Last year Kyrgyz presented its vehicles at the international industrial exhibition Expo-Russia Kyrgyzstan 2022 in Bishkek.
At the exhibition, two new vehicles were presented - a version of the freight truck KAMAZ-54901 and dump truck KAMAZ-65952.
