Tajikistan will host Belarus President
Alexander Lukashenko late October, Asia Plus reported on Wednesday.
Expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan will be one of major topics of the discussions.
Reportedly the two countries' experts prepared documents to sign during the visit.
The top-level negotiations will result in signing of the agreement on cooperation between the two countries for 2011-2020 years, program of economic cooperation for 2011-2020 years, as well as a number of other documents of cooperation.
According to Tajikistan's Statistics Agency under the President, goods turnover between Tajikistan and Belarus has amounted to $49.2 million in January to August 2011, which is 57.7 percent more than the same period of last year. Tajikistan's exports to Belarus made up $9.2 million and Tajikistan's imports from Belarus worth some $40 million.
