BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. Tajikistan imported vehicles, aircraft, vessel and various transport equipment for 8.1 million euros from the EU countries in February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Eurostat.
According to the agency, the imports decreased by 9.7 percent over 8.9 million euros in January 2023.
The main exporters of vehicles, aircraft, vessel and various transport equipment to Tajikistan in February 2023 in terms of value:
Lithuania – 4.8 million euros;
Germany – 2.4 million euros;
Czech Republic – 351,668 euro;
Slovenia – 162,284 euros;
Netherlands – 153,600 euros;
Poland – 122,340 euros;
Spain – 53,137 euros;
Belgium – 47,050 euros;
France – 43,669 euros;
Austria – 28,080 euros.
In total, Tajikistan bought various vehicles and transport equipment for 17.1 million euros from January through February 2023.
The value of trade turnover between Tajikistan and EU countries exceeded 84 million euros in the first two months of 2023.
During the specified period, Tajikistan imported goods from the EU countries for more than 56.4 million euros. The value of Tajikistan’s exports to the EU totaled 27.6 million from January through February 2023.
