BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to attract technologies and use China's experience for the development of the industrial sector of Tajikistan, Trend reports via the press service of Tajik president.
This was stated following the meeting of the Kyrgyz and Chinese presidents in Xi'an City, as a part of the China - Central Asia summit on May 18-19, which hosts the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the sides pointed out that it is necessary to attract modern technologies and use the experience of China in the development of national industry, agriculture, infrastructure, and the set-up of joint companies in Tajikistan.
Furthermore, the parties discussed the participation of Chinese enterprises in the creation of industrial and agricultural parks in the country.
At the same time, the heads of the states also agreed to implement joint measures to expand the capacities of Tajik Talco aluminum producers. Meanwhile, an agreement to launch the production of electric cars in Tajikistan was reached as well.
