Russia reveals value of joint projects with Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, September 29. Russia and Tajikistan have more than 30 joint projects with a total value exceeding 100 billion rubles ($1 billion), as of today, Trend reports.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Marat Khusnullin, made this announcement while speaking at the international investment forum "Dushanbe-2023." He emphasized that the cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan continues to develop in the spirit of a strategic partnership and expressed hope that this collaboration would expand.

Khusnullin noted that a delegation of 150 representatives from business and government had arrived in Dushanbe with him. He also reminded that Russia holds the top position in terms of trade turnover with Tajikistan, and this trade relationship continues to grow.

The International Investment Forum is taking place in Dushanbe and has gathered over 800 representatives from governments and business circles from more than 30 countries worldwide, as well as international organizations.

In his welcome remarks, President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that hosting such business forums contributes to the expansion of economic cooperation among countries, entrepreneurs, and investors.

The primary objective of the event is to showcase the favorable investment climate in the country, attract investments, foster collaboration between domestic companies and foreign investors, and promote the growth of digital commerce.
