Last week, 14 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen media reported.
Businessmen from the UK, Malta and other countries purchased straight-run gasoline and heating fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
In addition, high density polyethylene, colorless sheet glass and cotton wool were sold to businessmen from Russia and Turkey.
The total amount of transactions exceeded $12.733 million.
This is while businessmen from the UAE and Turkey purchased yarn and cotton fabrics worth a total of over 5.125 million Turkmen manats.
The official exchange rate of the Turkmen manat against US dollar has remained unchanged since January 2015 ($1 = 3.5 Turkmen manats).
