The Chairman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammadova received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia Luvsan Battulga, the state news agency Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary reported Nov. 13.
The diplomat expressed confidence in the presence of a multifaceted potential for the development of strong and mutually beneficial bilateral contacts, the message says.
It was emphasized at the meeting that "the peoples of the two countries are united by the desire for universal peace and harmony, which serves as a reliable basis for the development of constructive interstate cooperation."
Battulga was also accepted at the Foreign Ministry of the country. During the meeting, the issues of intensifying the cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields were discussed, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Among the priority areas of partnership, the two countries mention trade, agriculture, in particular, livestock breeding, as well as the spheres of tourism and sports.
