The solemn ceremony of the inauguration of the newly elected president of Turkmenistan will be held on March 19, 2022 at the Oguzhan Presidential Palace, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said during a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan agency.
The snap presidential election will be held on March 12.
The election campaign started on February 14, 2022. Nine candidates for the presidential post have been registered.
