BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The Kökçi enterprise, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, manufactured about 15,000 car batteries of various capacities from January through March 2022, Trend reports via Business Turkmenistan news agency.
The company produces seven types of batteries with a nominal capacity 60, 65, 75, 90, 100, 190 and 200 A/h.
It should be noted that last year Kökçi was using recycled old batteries as raw material for new production.
In addition to sales on the domestic market, the company's products are also exported abroad. Since the beginning of the year, 1,400 car batteries have been exported to Afghanistan.
Furthermore, with the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
