BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $29.2 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey, UK and Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel and liquefied gas produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas.

Businessmen from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan bought smooth-dyed terry products and Portland cement on the stock exchange for foreign currency.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased petroleum coke, bitumen, base oil, technical sulfur, high-density polyethylene, as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of about 18.2 million Turkmen manat ($5.2 million).

A total of 48 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
