BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Turkmenistan is working to introduce digitalization in the structures of the fuel and energy complex, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov to the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting.

According to him, in accordance with the "Concept for the Development of the digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025", special departments for the introduction of digital technologies and information security have been created in the central offices of Turkmengaz and Turkmennebit State Concerns, Turkmengeology State Corporation and the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR).

For the sake of digital control over the sale of natural gas to domestic consumers and the management of data on gas fields and wells, a Settlement Center has been created at the Turkmengaz State Concern and the 'Elektron ammar' program has been installed.

Furthermore, Turkmennebit State Concern has an electronic document management system - 'Netije' and an official website.

In accordance with the digital economy development plan for 2022, the GOLDAW electronic document management system has been put into operation in the central office of TCOR.

Turkmenistan pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
