BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $53.3 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from Turkiye, UAE, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased gasoline and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex on the exchange.

At the same time, representatives of the business circles of Turkiye, UAE and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn, smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products.

Businessmen from UAE and Turkiye purchased cotton yarn worth more than 13 million Turkmen manats ($3.7 million).

A total of 49 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
