BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased various types of cotton yarn from Turkmen production during trading on August 8 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Businessmen from the UAE purchased 30,1 tons of various types of cotton yarn on the exchange. The total amount of the transaction was 1.2 million Turkmen manats ($342,500).
Furthermore, according to the exchange, on July 28, entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased wool for a total of 950,000 Turkmen manats ($271,100).
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
