BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. The Azyk company located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan produced 4,700 tons of cottonseed oil from January through February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, the company's enterprises also produced over 1,250 tons of refined cottonseed oil during the reporting period.
The company's enterprises, which have modern equipment installed to monitor the quality of products, have successfully implemented a manufacturing plan.
Meanwhile, 580,000 hectares of land will be sown in Turkmenistan this year, from which it is planned to harvest over 1.25 million tons of cotton.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
