BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Major Korean companies are interested in participating in large projects in Turkmenistan, including the Arkadag city construction project, Trend reports with reference to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae Kwon during a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Seoul Begench Durdyyev.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation in such areas as political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
The diplomats stressed the importance of contacts at the highest and highest levels between the two countries for the expansion of bilateral relations.
The sides also discussed the significance of previous high-level meetings, as well as ways to successfully solve future tasks. In particular, the parties reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached during the President of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's official visit to Seoul in November 2022.
At the end of the meeting, the diplomats noted that Korean companies have huge opportunities and a high potential for their activities in Turkmenistan.
