BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Turkmenistan imported chemical industry products worth 4.76 million euros from France from January through February 2023, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
According to the information, these figures in the reporting period are 7.7 times more than in the first two months of last year (613,500 euros).
According to the statistical office, in February 2023 Turkmenistan imported chemical industry products from France in the amount of 3.62 million euros, which is more than 3.1 times more than in January 2023 (1.14 million euros).
Turkmenistan increased imports from France in the first two months of this year by more than 3.6 times compared to the same period in 2022 (4.29 million euros) - up to 15.79 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries from January through February 2023 amounted to over 118.36 million euros, which is 27.3 percent less than the same period last year (162.86 million euros).
