Turkmenistan's construction and industrial sectors witness increased activity

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 11. Turkmenistan exceeded the production targets set for the construction and industrial sectors during the period from January through October this year, Trend reports.

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan, Baymyrat Annamamedov, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He noted that the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan exceeded the plan for completed work by 11.9 percent, while the Ashgabat city municipality exceeded the volume of completed work and services by 22.3 percent compared to the first eleven months of last year.

At the same time, Annamamedov added that the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan exceeded the planned production and performance indicators by 10.1 percent, while the State Agency for Road Construction Management over the reporting period by 3.7 percent.

He also stressed that in the first 11 months of this year, the Turkmenhimiya State Concern manufactured products and provided services worth more than 2.17 billion Turkmen manat ($621.14 million).

Turkmenistan has made notable strides in advancing its industrial sector, and the government's strategic initiatives and innovative approaches have resulted in surpassing production targets in both the industrial and construction sectors since the start of this year.

Rigorous endeavors to modernize and diversify the industrial foundation not only enhance production capacity but also foster a conducive environment for attracting investments.
