The post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs was eliminated in Uzbekistan, a governmental source told Trend on Monday with the reference to a decree of the President.

The decision is made for further improvement of management structure and the efficiency of the Ministry's activities, the source said.

As reported, in early July 2013 by a decree of Uzbekistan's President the post of Ambassador-at-Large was introduced in Foreign Ministry's structure.
