The volume of production of vegetables in Uzbekistan in the past 10 years has grown by 66.5 percent, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Thus, in 2020 this figure amounted to 10.4 million tons and in 2010 it amounted to 6.2 million tons.
The volume of potato production in Uzbekistan amounted to 3.1 million tons in 2020, which is an increase of 85.4 percent compared 2010 (1.6 million tons).
The production of fruits and berries amounted to 2.8 million tons in 2020, which is an increase of 67.7 percent compared to 2010 (1.6 million tons).
The production of cereals and legumes in Uzbekistan in 2020 amounted to 7.6 million tons.
The volume of grape production in Uzbekistan amounted to 1.6 million tons which is an increase of 64 percent compared to 2010 (979,300 tons).
From January through September 2021, wheat production in Uzbekistan amounted to 5.4 million tons, corn production amounted to 281,800 tons, rice production amounted to 115,600 tons, potato production amounted to 2.4 million tons, and grape production amounted to 1.3 million tons.
