The total assets of microcredit organizations in Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2022, amounted to 1.2 trillion soums ($117.2 million), which is an increase of 47.3 percent compared to the same period last year (863.7 billion soums, or $79.5 million), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek Central Bank.
During this period, the total liabilities of microcredit organizations in Uzbekistan amounted to 586 billion soums, which is an increase of 76.5 percent compared to the same period in 2021 (331.9 billion soums, or $30.5 million).
As of January 1, 2022, the equity capital of microcredit organizations in Uzbekistan increased by 29 percent in comparison to the same period last year (531.7 billion soums, or $48.9 million), reaching 686.3 billion soums ($63.2 million).
