Uzbekistan discloses volume of services provided to population within 5M2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9. The volume of services provided to the population of Uzbekistan from January through May 2022 worth 131.6 trillion soums ($12 billion), which is an increase of 23.2 percent compared to the same period last year (106.8 trillion soums or $9.8 billion), Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

The volume of communication and information services in this period amounted to 8.4 trillion soums ($771 million), transport services – 28.9 trillion soums ($2.6 billion), trade services – 32.9 trillion soums ($3 billion), financial services – 30.2 trillion soums ($2.8 billion).

From January through May 2022, the largest volume of services was provided to residents of Tashkent city, as well as the Tashkent region, the smallest volume was provided to residents of the Syrdarya region.

During this period, the volume of services provided per capita amounted to 3.7 million soums ($342.2).
