BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Uzbekistan has manufactured some 7,673 Chevrolet Cobalt from January through February 2023, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The production of Cobalt cars has decreased by 28.8 percent, compared to the same period in 2022 (10,787 cars).
During the first two months, besides Cobalt cars, in Uzbekistan were also produced the following cars: Chevrolet Damas (9,436 cars), Daewoo Gentra (5,174 cars), Chevrolet Tracker (1,087 cars), Chevrolet Nexia T-250 (467 cars), as well as a new model of Chevrolet Onix (112 cars).
Speaking about new Chevrolet Onix cars, recently press secretary of Uzavtosanoat JSC Zumrad Shahdjalilova told Trend, by the end of 2023, the country’s auto producer plans to manufacture more than 50,000 Onix cars.
Shahdjalilova also said that Uzbekistan in 2022 produced 327,639 Chevrolet cars, in particular, Cobalt –101,617 cars, Damas – 93,120, Lacetti – 87,105, Nexia – 22,245, Spark – 14,464, Tracker – 9,088.
