BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Uzbekistan has manufactured 467 Chevrolet Nexia T-250 from January through February 2023, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
This brand's production dropped by almost 7 times year-on-year (2,902 cars in the first two months of 2022).
The country’s car producers in the reporting period have also manufactured some 5,174 Daewoo Gentra, 7,673 Chevrolet Cobalt, 1,087 Chevrolet Tracker, 9,436 Chevrolet Damas, as well as 112 Chevrolet Onix.
In 2022, the production of Chevrolet Nexia T-250, decreased by 29.3 percent over 31,466 cars in 2021.
Despite decrease in production of Nexia, Uzbekistan in 2023 launched production of new Chevrolet Onix and Chevrolet Tracker.
Speaking about new Chevrolet Onix cars, recently press secretary of Uzavtosanoat JSC Zumrad Shahdjalilova told Trend that by the end of 2023, the country’s auto producer plans to manufacture more than 50,000 Onix cars.
