BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Siemens Energy and Uzbekistan have agreed on the development of a joint roadmap for cooperation, Trend reports.
The issue was discussed at the meeting between Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Sarvar Khamidov, and Ariel Porat, President of Siemens Energy for the European region.
This roadmap includes specific investment projects, step-by-step mechanisms, and precise implementation timelines.
At the same time, discussions revolved around the practical implementation of joint projects with a total worth of 3.4 billion euros. These projects include the construction of a combined cycle power plant in the Surkhandarya region, as well as solar PV and thermal power stations within the Navoiyazot JSC.
Additionally, the meeting outlined prospects for collaboration in the fields of digitalization, metallurgy, electrical engineering, hydrogen energy, and the oil and gas industry.
