BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Industry enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC signed 22 memorandums for the development of new product lines with local enterprises, with a total value of 4.01 billion Uzbekistani som (near $348,738) during a specialized interregional fair on industrial cooperation in Uzbekistan’s Fergana city, Trend reports.
In addition to the memorandums, enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz also signed five contracts during the event valued at 3.8 billion Uzbekistani som ($331,097).
The fair in Fergana was focusing on textile and silk processing, leather and footwear, furniture, oil and gas, chemical industries, and construction materials production.
As part of the fair, the industrial potential of Uzbekneftegaz was showcased, including the status and prospects of raw material processing, production infrastructure, import range, and project proposals for production localization.
In particular, new types of synthetic fuel from Uzbekistan GTL company, high-quality polymer products, localized polymer pipelines, spare parts for drip irrigation systems, composite panels, and consumer goods from Uz-Kor Gas Chemical Company and the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex were presented.
The exhibition placed special emphasis on displaying a diverse range of fuel products from the Bukhara Oil Refinery, as well as imported products specifically designed for oil and gas extraction operations.
During the event, enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz held discussions regarding the replacement of imported oil with domestic alternatives with Uzbekistan’s Chilon Lubricants.
Furthermore, Uzbekneftegaz and Carbon Polymer reached agreements for the development of essential components, and plans were made for production testing of specific products.
