TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 23. Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials trade turnover amounted to $676.8 million from January through March 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure is 23.1 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($549.5 million in January–March 2023).
The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials totaled $129.9 million in the first quarter of 2024, which is 228.8 percent more year-on-year ($39.5 million in January–March 2023).
Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials imports reached $546.9 million from January through March 2024, which demonstrates 7.2 percent growth over the year ($510 million from January through March 2023).
Meanwhile, the country's total trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $1.2 billion from January through March 2024. This figure is 44.8 percent more year-on-year ($828.5 million in January–March 2023).
Uzbekistan's exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $204.7 million, and imports totaled $1 billion from January through March 2024.
