Ahmadinejad: Iranian army cannot be defeated

President Ahmadinejad praised Iran's army during his speech at the parade, saying that no army in the world can defeat the army of Islamic Republic, IRINN reported live.
"Our army ha its roots in this land. Our army relies on this great God-trusting nation. Such army cannot be defeated," Ahmadinejad added.
Iran is marking the National Army Day today. Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi, Police Chief Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam are present at the ceremony, along with IRGC's generals and foreign attaches.
Country's Air forces, Naval Forces and Ground forces participate in the massive military parade that's being hosted as part of the celebration.
Ahmadinejad also spoke about national army's achievements, noting that today country's army is a point of reliance of the Iranian nation.
"Iran's army progresses, we can witness this progress," Ahmadinejad underscored. "Iranian army maintains its prepareness, and is ready to strike a crushing blow to any threat".
Ahmadinejad said he appreciates the national army, noting that the armed forces of Iran shoud "bear in mind their significance".
He added that Iran's honorable army will continue to improve. Mentioning country's Naval forces, Ahmadinejad underscored that in the Persian Gulf, which is a sensitive region, Iranian Naval forces is ready to protect and serve country's interests.
He also praised the nation, noting that "Iranian nation is the most peace-loving nation in the world".
"We sympathize with other nations. We believe in friendship and tolerance," the president said.
