The councils and internal affairs commission of the Iranian parliament will discuss a bill next week to add 20 people as members, the ISNA News Agency reported on Wednesday.
According to The Majlis is the national legislative body of Iran. It currently has 290 representatives, five of whom represent non-Muslim religious minorities, are popularly elected for four-year terms. About 8 percent of the Majlis members are women.
