Quake jolts Iranian Hormozgan province

A earthquake measuring 5.6 on Richter scale jolted port city of Minab in southern province of Hormozgan in Iran on Sunday, U.S. Geological Survey reported.
According to the report, the tremor occurred at 05:07 hours local time and its epicenter was in depth of 25 kilometers underground.
There in no immediate report on possible damage.
