Golestan Palace, belonging to the oldest buildings in Tehran, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the organization said today.
The palace is a masterpiece of the art of the Qajar period. It embodies the successful integration of craft and architectural traditions of early Persian period and western influence.
