In the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21-August 22, 2019), Iran's exports via borders of its Kurdistan province reached 855,500 tons in terms of weight and $506.8 million in monetary terms, Head of Kurdistan Customs Administration Bakhtiyar Rahmanipour said, Trend reports via IRNA.
Rahmanipour noted that the exports increased by 10 percent in terms of weight, but decreased by 1 percent in USD monetary terms
He added that during the reported period, over 1,215 types of goods were exported to 10 countries from Kurdistan province, while the main export destination was Iraq.
The customs offical further added that the main export items were greens, fruits, fossil fuels, rubber and metals.
