New air-to-ground missiles have been tested in Iran during the Muharram 94 military exercises, the ISNA agency said Oct.20.
The rockets were fired from helicopters against ground targets, according to the agency. These missiles are an optimized version of TOW missiles.
The Muharram 94 large-scale military exercises are held since October 19 in Iran around the town of Qasr-e Shirin. The exercises involve various units of the armed forces of Iran, including ground forces and air defense forces.
The Muharram 94 military exercises will end October 21.
