Georgia, Tbilisi, May 30 / Trend, N. Kirtzkhalia /
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said in an interview to "Prime Time" that he hoped the relationship between the new government of Georgia and Russia will be different.
He was commenting on the demarcation works of the Russian border guards on the border of Georgia's separatist regions.
According to Ivanishvili, such actions of the Russian side were a surprise for him.
"What is happening is very unpleasantly and puzzling because I thought that between the new government of Georgia and Russia will be other relationships. We have taken all for the normalization of relations. It is a surprise for me, and we do our best to find out if it is decided at the ministerial level, or military command or authorities," Prime Minister said.
Ivanishvili is not going to draw conclusions, that it is a result of rhetoric of the new government.
"We have diplomatic, normal, healthy rhetoric, which does not hide the fact and so we will continue. We are trying to resolve all by the diplomacy way. Naturally, the situation with which we started was very difficult and today is complicated, it is not so easy to settle and we never had the illusion of it, " Prime Minister said.
Ivanishvili considered the settlement as a long and complex process.
"I never said that we will come and this problem will be solved," Ivanishvili said.
