According to the decision of the Georgian authorities, from August 25, cafes and restaurants will finish work at 22:00, Trend reports referring to the Georgian media.
The decision was made in the framework of tightening regulations and preventing the spread of coronavirus.
Earlier, the government also set the closing time for catering facilities - at first it was midnight, and until recently - 23:00.
In addition, the coordinating interagency council decided that on September 2 the planned football match at the stadium in Batumi will take place without spectators.
The ban on holding festivals, the work of clubs, and other events that involve a crowd of people remain in force.
Meanwhile, an alarming epidemiological situation persists in Georgia, about 5,000-6,000 people are infected with coronavirus every day. Mortality has sharply increased - in August alone, more than 1,000 people died from the effects of the coronavirus.
