BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Kyrgyzstan sharply increased in September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.
According to the administration, the total number of visitors traveling to Georgia from Kyrgyzstan in September 2022 amounted to 1,521 people, which is almost 2.6 times more than in the same month of 2021 (589 people).
Thus, Kyrgyzstan ranked 26th among countries in the world in terms of the number of visitors to Georgia in September 2022.
During this month, Russia ranked first (163,192 people), followed by Armenia (83,603 people) and Türkiye (81,790 people).
Overall, the total number of visitors to Georgia in September this year amounted to 636,235 people, which is 2.5 times more than in the same month of 2021 (247,105 people).
