(Itar-Tass) - - Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said on Monday that it is possible to improve relations between Georgia and Russia only with account of both states' interests.

Georgia comes out in favour of normalizing relations with the Russian Federation and developing good-neighbourliness between our countries, but all should understand that it is necessary to take into account national, state interests of Georgia, take into account the fact that we are building a democratic and sovereign state. If Russia will treat it with respect and understanding then it will, naturally, considerably facilitate the process of normalisation of relations, the minister told a briefing in Tbilisi, reports Trend.
