Cargo transportation by Uzbek trucks to Turkey grows

In November 2019, 1,546 Uzbek trucks transported cargo to Turkey, which is 224 trucks more compared to November 2018, Trend reports on Dec. 28 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).

In November 2019, 805 Uzbek trucks transported cargo through Gurbulak checkpoint, three Uzbek trucks - through Aktas checkpoint, 595 Uzbek trucks – through Dilucu checkpoint, 130 Uzbek trucks – through Esendere checkpoint and 13 Uzbek trucks - through Sarp checkpoint (on the border with Georgia).

In November 2019, the cargo was mainly transported through Kapikule, Pendik, Habur, Yalova, Ipsala, Cesme, Hamzabeyli, Gurbulak, Dilucu and Sarp checkpoints.

In November 2019, a total of 36,571 trucks transported cargo through the Turkish checkpoints, which is 3,821 trucks more than in November 2018.
