BAKU. Azerbaijan. August 16. A small twin-engine plane has crashed in the state of Mato Grosso in central Brazil, killing five people, including businessman Arnie Spearing, Trend reports.
The twin-engine King Air crashed in rural Apiakas, killing 70-year-old Spearing, two of his grandchildren, a colleague of the businessman and the pilot.
According to the Mato Grosso Civil Police, the plane exploded in mid-air and then crashed near a farm. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
The plane was registered to Spearing, who previously coached the football team of the Brazilian municipality of Rondonopolis.
