Spanish singer Julio Iglesias will arrive
here on Wednesday to prepare for his first concert in Syria, a source from the sponsoring company said.
The source, from the Syrian Ninar company, told Deutsche Presse- Agentur
dpa that Iglesias would meet the press after he arrives in preparation for his
Thursday night concert.
The Latin singer, one of the world's best-selling with more than 2,600 gold and
platinum records to his credit, would be bringing a team of 150 people,
including his band and technicians.
Last Year, Ninar organised a concert for Julio's son, Enrique, dpa reported.
