Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday for a two-day visit, reported dpa.
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan received Zardari at the airport. His visit follows a week after Abu Dhabi hosted a high-level meeting of 16 nations agreed in principal to throw a financial lifeline to Pakistan.
The group, dubbed the "Friends of Pakistan" included Britain, France, Germany, China, the United States, as well as the United Nations, the European Union and multilateral financial agencies and world bodies.
