Two trucks collided head-on late Saturday in southern Philippine city of Zamboanga, wounding 42 people, four of them in critical conditions, local media reported Sunday.
Local TV network GMA News reported that a dump truck and a mini truck rammed into each other at a curved portion on Maria Clara Lobregat Highway in Zamboanga City at 16:30 local time (0830 GMT).
The injured have been hospitalized in Zamboanga City Medical Center.
The cause of the accident is under police investigation, Xinhua reported.
