More than 150 passengers were safety evacuated from a whale-watching tour boat that ran aground in Boston Harbour Saturday morning, dpa reported.
Some of the 168 passengers were knocked to the ground when the boat ran aground, and one man was taken away on a stretcher, the Boston Herald reported online. Six crew members were also on board.
The boat, the Massachusetts, suddenly ran aground on a rocky stretch about 10 am near Deer Island, a Coast Guard official was quoted as saying.
Passengers grabbed life jackets and moved to the top deck to await rescue by Coast Guard, fishing and police boats.
