A magnitude-5.3 earthquake hit Kepulauan aru region, Indonesia around 0607 GMT on Tuesday, said the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter was monitored at 6.061 degrees south latitude and 133.520 degrees east longitude with the depth of 45.2 km, Xinhua reported.
